WatchMojo series on Top 10 musical artists by decade
If you've taken my Screen English class, you know we sometimes view WatchMojo clips about movies and actors. WatchMojo.com also has many clips about musicians and songs. I've posted the video clips below, starting with the 1950s when rock music began. By checking out these videos, you can learn a little about rock history and maybe discover some musicians or eras you'd like to know more about. Since the clips are grouped by decade, they will help you when you browse for radio stations, as many radio stations feature 'music of the 80's' or 'music of the 90's' and so on. Also, if you view these videos, you can write a paragraph about what you heard, and what artists you have become interested in, and how you will pursue that interest by listening to similar music on the radio. The paragraphs you write can then be put into your graduation report. Please relate your musical discovery process to English learning.
