ESL Online
ESL is English as a Second Language. If you are in Japan studying English, you are probably an ESL student.
Most of the pages on this Lifelong English Seminar website introduce resources and sites that are meant for native English speakers, but which are also useful for ESL students who want to try the same materials that native English speakers use. However, resources for native speakers are often difficult for ESL students, who may not have the vocabulary or listening ability to understand authentic English. ESL sites, on the other hand, are designed with non-native speakers in mind. They usually offer exercises, audio clips or videos that are grouped by ability level so anyone learning English can find resources to use that fit their needs.
If you are serious about learning English, you can find an ESL site that has exercises that are perfect for you. You should access the site on a regular basis and work your way up the levels. Nowadays, no one needs an English class to learn English. It's all available online, so get started and master this! There are no excuses!

About Language Learning Apps
|
There are many language learning apps available these days. The most popular one is probably DuoLingo. With that app, you can introduce yourself to many foreign languages. However, I think it may be hard for some people to continue using DuoLingo. The free version only allows limited time each day. In the video posted here at left, the YouTuber (Olly Richards; channel) doesn't really recommend DuoLingo. He seems to feel that there are only 4 types of apps that really work for language learning. What are they? Do you agree with his opinion?
