Xreading allows you to select books according to your level of study in English. I entered Tsurumi University and read level 1 books. Words read are 100 characters or less. Then, in second and third years, I can read 5000 words. With Xreading, the level and number of characters are displayed for each book. Also you can listen to the story of the book on this site. Xreading can help you to improve reading and listening skills. You can also shadow while listening to the voice. [86 words]
I recommend the book Do it!. The main characters are Ryan and Kenji. Ryan likes sports but he is not good at studying. Kenji is the opposite, smart but he is not good at sports. Ryan and Kenji have to talk for 15 minutes in front of the science class together. They are totally opposite, so they have a lot of quarrels. However, the theme of the presentation was very interesting and wonderful. Because of the theme, Ryan was fond of studying, Kenji became good at sports. I feel that many people can sympathize with this story of school and read it enjoyably. The number of words is about 2400, so it’s easy to read. You can read use site anywhere, so please read it! [it's convenient to use.] [Mei - You need to talk about the features of Xreading, not the content of one book. There are samples at the bottom of this page for you to see. You should look at the samples. Also, you don't need to tell me 'please read it' in your graduation report. I am not going to read it.]

I recommend a school-themed books because I think school-themed books are fun to read. When I enjoy reading books, I feel like reading a lot of books. Reading a lot of books will help me to remember words and expressions. Another book I like is, Grimms Fairy Tales. Everyone knows fairy tales, such as Cinderella. When I read Cinderella, I didn't know all of the words, but I could predict the meaning from the flow of the story and understand the word without looking it up in a dictionary I could do this because I know the story of Cinderella. In this way, Xreading can help you acquire not only the practice of reading, also acquire the ability to anticipate. [Wow.]

Xreading is an online system for reading books for ESL. Anyone with a smartphone, tablet or pc can easily read English books on this platform. You can search for books in various ways. For example, you can search by genre, title, level, or publisher. When I search, I always search from the lowest level to the highest, because if I don't have time and want to read a short book, I can find it quickly. The audio function allows you to listen to audio while you read. You can adjust the speed of the audio. You can also choose the book you want to read in the book details. For example, you can choose British English or American English, the word count, and reviews of the book. At the end of the book, there is a quiz to test your comprehension. Xreading allows you to see which books you have read in the past and you can read them again. If you fail a quiz, the system colors the entry to highlight it. The time is measured, so you need to solve it correctly and quickly. The best thing about Xreading for me is that it shows everything in numbers. It also keeps track of the time it takes you to finish reading. It makes reading fun because you can see your time improve as you get used to reading.
[You should tell me one or two words that you learned and the title of the book where you found the words. - Kevin]

I read some English books on Xreading. I didn’t know about Xreading before I entered university. This site is an online platform for reading English books of which there are many. You can read digital books anytime anywhere if you have your smartphone, PC or tablet. And also, there are many useful functions. First, you can choose the level of the book. Levels range from 1 to 15. You can also search books that you want to read by genre, title and publisher. There are many kinds of genres, like romance and mystery. Then, you can listen to audio when you read the book. Audio speed and text size can be changed. At the end of the books, there are vocabulary lists and quizzes. You should take quizzes to check understanding. You can open the book while taking a quiz, so you don’t have to worry if you forget the content. However, there is a time limit, so you need to finish taking the quiz within that time. After you read, the books you read will be recorded, so you can see how many words you read. I think Xreading is good not only for reading but also for understanding vocabulary and listening to native English.

Xreading is a useful tool for learning English. The tool allows you to read more than 1,500 English books online. You can log in and use it on your smartphone, tablet, or PC. I usually use Xreading on my smartphone because I can read everywhere right away.
There are many ways to search on Xreading. You can search books by summary, title and author. Also, the books are categorized by levels, genres and so on. Currently, there are 15 levels and 34 genres on Xreading, so i think you can find the books that suit you. Most Xreading books have audio, so you can listen to it when you read. And you can fast forward or rewind the audio for 10 seconds. There are also functions to change the audio speed and the text size in the book, so you can customize them as you like. After reading the book, there is a quiz to check your understanding of the content. While reading, the time is measured, and the elapsed time and the book you read are recorded in your book data.
I read The Invention of Writing. I learned two words from this book. The first is "slightly". It means "少し・わずかに" in Japanese and "only a little" in English. The second is "cuneiform". It means "くさび形文字" in Japanese and "an early writing system" in English.
Xreading has many good functions. I think Xreading can continue to be used even by people who are not good at reading

I used Xreading when I was a first year college student, but I haven't used it recently. There are a lot of English books, publishers and series. Every publisher and series has a level, so you can try to read what you want at your level. You can search by genre, title, level, publisher. If you don’t like to read or can’t read the pronunciation, you can listen to the audio. If you can’t listen to it well, you can change the audio speed. There is a bookmark and you can read it on a PC or your smartphone, so, you can read it in your free time anywhere. I think it's useful to take a test after reading so, you can check that you understand the grammar and vocabulary.
I read ‘The King with the Golden Touch’ and ‘Tess and Peddy. I learned two new words. First I learned ''greedy''. Its meaning base, enviable [no; use the Google dictionary] and 欲深い、羨ましい in Japanese. Second I learned growled. Its meaning is "roar, snarl" and 唸る、唸り声 in Japanese.
I haven't used Xreading since I was a second year college student, but I will use it from now to improve my English skill. Please try it for everyone. [We don't need this in the graduation report.]

Xreading is a site for reading English books for extensive reading. You can read English books anytime, anywhere on your digital device. It's a digital book and you can choose from many types, like a university library.
After logging in, first search for the book you want to read from "home". Of course, if you have a book you want to read, you can search for it, but if you don't have one, you can narrow down the books by level or genre. Most books have narration so you can listen to the native voice while looking at the sentences. By listening to the audio, you can develop reading and listening skills at the same time. You can check if you understood the contents by taking a quiz after reading.
I learned two new idioms and words. First is "go bright red", it means being embarrassed and having a red face, and "赤面する、顔を真っ赤にする" in Japanese. Second is "tease", it means "to laugh at or make jokes about somebody to annoy oe embarrass them,"and "からかう" in Japanese.
Xreading records how many books and words you have read in total. You can participate in the reader marathon by reading with Xreading. I couldn't participate in in my second and third years, so I would like to read and participate in my free time as much as possible before I graduate.

Also, there are various genres and you can search for books by title or publisher. You can also listen to the audio if you find words you don't know. If you feel that the audio is too fast, you can change the voice speed. There is also a function to record how far you read and what you read. When you finish reading, you can take a quiz. By doing this, you can see how much you understand the contents of the book.
I read Two Stupid Cats and Watch Me! Watch Me! on this site. I learned two words from this. The first one is "nasty". It means "不快な" in Japanese and "very bad or unpleasant" in English. The second one is "competition". It means "競争" in Japanese and "the activity or condition of striving to gain or win something by defeating or establishing superiority over others" in English.
I have been using Xreading since my first year at university, but I don't use it very often these days. Now that I understand the importance of reading, I will continue to use it. Also, I would like to make use of this to improve my vocabulary.

I tried reading English books with Xreading. This site is a system that allows you to access hundreds of English Readers on your smartphone, PC or tablet, anywhere, anytime. There are many useful features. First, you can find books by level, so you can read books at the level that suits you best. In addition to this function, there is also a search function that allows you to find books by genre, title, or publisher. Next, you can change the text size and audio speed, so you can adjust it as you like. And you can see reviews from people who have read the book, so you can get an idea of its rating and difficulty. After reading the book, you can take a quiz to check your understanding. You can check the number of words you have read, the time you have spent reading, and the level of the book you read from My Books.
I read Try Out for the Musical! and Birds in Paradise. I learned two words from these books. The first is “definitely”. It means “without doubt”, and “明確に、間違いなく” in Japanese. The second is “hummingbird”. It means “a small nectar-feeding tropical American bird that is able to hover and fly backward, typically having colorful iridescent plumage.”, and “ハチドリ” in Japanese.
I think Xreading is a great site to use at any place or time and has many useful features.

I have been using Xreading since I started college to learn English. Xreading is a site where we can read a lot of English books. We can read English books anytime, anywhere on our PC and smartphone. The site has many books, and each book is labeled with its level and word count so that you can choose the book that best fits your level of reading. You can also take a quiz after you finish reading to check your understanding of the content. Other features include the fact that most of books have audio and the text is read aloud to the reader.
I learned two new words from the book Monkey Party. The first is “mischievous”. It means “いたずら” in Japanese. The definition of English is “behaving in way that is bad but not serious”. The second is “banquet”. It means “宴会・晩餐” in Japanese. The definition of English is “a dinner for many people, usually for a special occasion."
If you haven’t used Xreading yet, I want you to give it a try. I am sure you will find this site to be very good. I will continue to use this site to learn English. Let’s learn English together using Xreading. [We don't need sentences like this in the graduation report. Who is this advice for? I am the only one who will read your report. - Kevin]

Hiyori Saishin - May 22, 2022
Xreading has many English books. There are some books with less than 20 characters, [words?] and others that are too many to read in a day. I can improve my skills by reading many English books. There are many ways to search on Xreading. For example, you can choose from publishers and series, and you can choose from levels and genres. Level 1 sometimes includes a large number of characters, but there are many easy-to-read works, such as Aladdin and Little Riding Hood. You can also know the satisfaction of the book before you read it. If you have a word that you can't pronounce when you're reading, you can play the sound, so you can check it on the spot. It depends on the book, but if the number of characters exceeds 100 characters, there will be a quiz. You can see if you understand the book by taking the quiz, and if you don't understand the question, you can read the book in the middle and check it out. I think Xreading is good not only because you can read a lot of English, but also because you can read books that suit your level. Another good things is that you can understand the pronunciation of words you don't understand immediately.
I learned two words from Walking Dogs. The first word is "scent". "Scent" means "香り" in Japanese. There are several words for smell, but smell is used as a neutral expression, and scent is basically used when it smells good. The second word is "supplies". "Supplies" means "補給品" in Japanese. We use the word "supplies" when we say we send supplies to the disaster-stricken areas.

I have been using Xreading since I entered university in order to improve my English. Xreading allows you to read books according to your reading level. There are many kinds and genres, so you can enjoy reading. Also, there are questions at the end of each book to check your understanding.
Xreading records the number of words you read so you can keep track of your progress. Seeing the accumulation of words that I read motivates me.
I learned two new English expressions. The first is “run out of ~”. It means “〜を使い果たす” in Japanese. This is used when I run out of medicine. The second is “be about to~”. It means “まさに〜しようとしている” in Japanese. This is used when I am about to play basketball.
As the number of words I read in each book increases, my progress will motivate me, so I think I will be able to continue reading.

I sometimes read books on Xreading. I can read books that suit my level by logging in to this website. It has some great features that other sites don't have. After reading all the contents of the book, the system gives you a quiz about the contents. If you answer the quiz within the time limit and get a passing score, the number of words in the book will be recorded. If the score is not enough, the number of words will not be recorded. So we need to understand the content well, not just read it. In the quiz, there are various problems such as "Who said this?" and the problem of rearranging the events of the story too. being able to get the score and see the results of your own efforts should lead to improved motivation. You can also read books with audio on this site, so you can practice expressions and words that you don't know how to pronounce. You may be able to understand the content even more by reading it together with the audio. I often read books with audio.
On Xreading, you can also search for the book you want to read according to your leve. You will be able to understand the contents firmly from a simple book.
One of my favorite books is “Kung Fu Kid”. I learned one word from this book. The word is “”to bow”. It means “”お辞儀をする“ in Japanese. [English?]

I have been using Xreading since I was a freshman at Tsurumi University, and it has many very useful features. On this site, you can read English books online. The books are separated by genre, level, and series, so you can find books according to your level. In addition, some books have narration functions, making it easier to read even if you don't know the pronunciation. The site is very suitable for learning because some pages introduce the characters and words at the beginning of the book.
There are three [?] words I learned this time. The first is "shut. This is the same meaning as "close." In the book I read, it was used in the sentence "he shut his eyes" I didn't know there were other words with the same meaning as "close," so I learned something useful.
Next, I learned "I phoned 〜". This means "〜に電話をかける" in Japanese. I am usually used to hearing "call," The difference between the two is that "phoned" clearly means to make a phone call, while "call" can have a meaning other than a phone call, such as a visit or if you shout. Therefore, "phone" is clearer in the context of calling on the phone.

On Xreading I can read books written in English that are that are available on the site. Levels range from books with low word counts that toddlers can read to books with high word counts such as Macbeth written by Shakespeare. There is also a wide variety of Disney books and Curious George, which many people know. I read my first English book as a college student on Xreading and it was a 50-word book. Gradually I was able to read more smoothly and I increased the number of words. By repeating a book many times, I can notice that some words and phrases are often used and are important. In particular, the word "though" is used in many situations. "Though" used after a subject is a verb to "考える" [?] but when used at the end of a sentence, it means "~だけどね” or “でも”. And the most attractive thing about Xreading is that you can review the contents of the book by taking a quiz after you finish reading. The quizzes are written in English, so you can improve both your memorization and English skills. Xreading also shows how many books and words you have read, so you can improve. [?]

I read a book on X learning [Xreading], lost in the rain [Lost in the Rain]. X learning [Xreading] allows you to find books that fit your level. You can also look for your favorite book genres and series. Lost in the Rain, the book that I read, is a 3000-character book. It isn't that difficult. At first, I felt that there were a lot of words, but when I read it, I found only words I knew. Photos are also included, making it easy to understand the story. By reading books that fit your level, you can improve your reading speed. I felt that I should memorize words while reading them, not because I don't understand them, but because I don't understand them. [?] I thought I should use X learning [Xreading] because I can know my level.
I learned two words through this site. The first one is “wagging”. This mean is “especially with reference to an animal's tail) move or cause to move rapidly to and fro.” In Japanese, it is called “揺れる”. The next word is “tag”. This means “a label attached to something for the purpose of identification or to give other information”. In Japanese, it is called”ぶら下げる”. [値札]

I learned about Xreading after I entered Tsurumi University. I was taught that reading many English books is important. On Xreading, I can read many books on a PC or smartphone. I always carry my smartphone with me, so I use Xreading on my smartphone. It's convenient because you can read anytime, anywhere. Xreading is good for studying listening because it has an audio function. With Xreading, it's easy to find books that suit you because you can find books that suit your interest and level. Instead of suddenly reading a high-level book, I think it's better to choose a book from a simple level first. The book I read is remembered by Xreading, so I can tell what I read at a glance.
The books I read this time are "Zonbies in Tokyo" [Zombies in Tokyo] and "The Lost Dog" [The Lost Dog]. Both books are level three. I understood the content of the book because it is written mostly in simple words. I learned new words from these two books. The first one is "beating". The meaning in Japanese is"殴る". [English?] The second is "barking". The meaning in Japanese is "吠える". [English?] Books with simple words are easy to understand, but in order to read high-level books, I think it's necessary to gain knowledge of vocabulary. [How do you do that, Mayuko? Basically, you read books and look up the meaning of words you don't understand.]
For book titles, let's use italics instead of quotation marks, like this; Zombies in Tokyo

I read “Living With A Volcano “ [Living with a Volcano] and learned 3 words from Xreading. At first [First], the meaning of the title word volcano is 火山 in Japanese. [English?] And volcanologist’s means "a student of or specialist in volcanology". Second, I learned this word “role”. This word’s Japanese meaning is 役割 in Japanese. In this book, it is used like this “ They realize that volcanos play an important role in life on Earth ”. Finally I learned this word “benefit ”. This word’s meaning in Japanese is 利益. [English?] The meaning of "benefit from" is 〜から恩恵を受ける in Japanese and [?] in English.

I tried reading a book on Xreading. [What is the title of the book you read?] There are many useful things for me. First of all, the best thing is that I can choose a book according to my level. I can also read a book with only words that I know. On the other hand, those who want to improve their English skills can improve their level and learn new words. It's convenient because I can easily read English books on my iPhone without buying books. I can choose the genre, level, and title of a book search according to my taste. And I can take the comprehension check quiz of the books I read. The books I have read so far are recorded, so I can see when and what I have read. I can confirm my English level improvement, so it will also lead to my motivation. I’m not good at listening, so I can read while listening to the sound. Like this, there are many useful elements for my English study.
I learned some new words from Xreading. The first word is "curiosity". It means "好奇心" in Japanese and "peculiarity" in English. The last word is "derive". It means "引き出す" in Japanese and "educe" in English.

I felt [feel] that using Xreading is very good for people who want to learn English by reading English books. There are only English books on this site, so you can read books that you are interested in. The site gives detailed information about the books, such as the decoding level, the number of words, and the time it takes to read the book.
This site is very good because the levels of the books are divided, so those who want to deepen their knowledge of English can read the books step by step.
However, using this site, I also felt [feel] that it is not suitable for those who are studying English for the first time. The reason is that everything is written in English, so if you want to look up something you don't understand, you can use this site. [Haruto, this site is used all over the world. Should they translate into every language?]
If you don't understand a word, you have to look it up on another site, and if the book doesn't have pictures, you can't understand it while looking at the pictures, so I think this is an inconvenient point of this site. [Most of the books have pictures, and there are many really easy books on Xreading.]
However, I think it is good that I can read the book anywhere with my cell phone, so I can study during train rides or in my spare time.

Xreading is a system that allows you to read and listen to books online so you don't have to go to a bookstore or library. You can read using your computer or mobile phone, so it's very useful. Xreading allows you to choose a book according to your English level. You can learn correct pronunciation because it also has an audio function. If you choose a book with a slightly higher level compared to your ability, you will gradually improve your English.
I read Shooting Stars. This book is level 3. I learned two new words. The first word is ‘’statue’’. The meaning of this word is "a carved or cast figure of a person or animal, especially one that is life-size or larger" The meaning in Japanese is ‘’彫刻’’. The second word is ‘’souvenir’’. The meaning of this word is "a thing that is kept as a reminder of a person, place, or event." The meaning in Japanese is ‘’お土産’’.
Xreading is very convenient because youcan use it on your way to school or in your spare time. By reading a lot of books, you can learn new words and expressions. I think my English ability will improve if I use this.

I will introduce the easy-to-use features of Xreading, and what I have actually learned by using it. First of all, there are many good points about Xreading: the abundant amount of books, the fact that the books are divided into genres by level so it is easy to find books that match your level, the read-aloud function so you can actually check the pronunciation of words, and the fact that it keeps track of the books you have read. Another advantage is that we can log in and read from anywhere on a smartphone, PC, or tablet, so we can read while on the train. Another unique feature of Xreading is that quizzes are given to students after they have finished reading a book, so they can reconfirm and memorize the contents of the book. These are the good points of Xreading.
The next thing I learned from reading the book Calendars and the History of Time (Level 6) is that "to refer to" is expressed as "refer to" in English [?]. I am so glad I learned this expression here because it can be used not only for blogging but also in daily conversation.

I read several books at X Reading.
In X Reading, you can read books that match you in a variety of genres.
First of all, X Reading books are divided into various levels. So people who read English books for the first time can read things with few words.
Most books also have pictures, which makes it very convenient to understand the story.
Second, there are so many books that you can read the genre you are interested in.
By reading a book of the genre you are interested in, you will want to study English, not have to.
[Paragraphs, Koichi. If you can't write paragraphs, I will not check your writing. And this is less than 100 words.] [It's good that you looked at several books on Xreading though. - Kevin]

Xreading is effective for learning English. You can study with a book of the difficulty level that suits you, so you can learn step by step. Also, since there are various series of books, I feel that it is good to be able to learn English while reading the books of my favorite series. other , You can also take a comprehension test after reading a book. The test confirms that you understand the contents of the book, Every reader should do this to confirm understanding. However, I think it is better to use Xreading in addition to your usual English learning. I think it would be difficult to learn English with Xreading alone because you can't learn grammar or words. [Actually, you learn words by finding them in sentences. You may need to use a dictionary, but reading is one of the best ways to learn vocabulary. - Kevin] But,I feel that it is good for improving reading speed, so I would like you to try it.

Xreading lets me to read books online. I thought [think] it is good to be able to use my preferred device depending on the situation. The search function to find books is convenient and allows users search by book level, genre, and publisher, so it is easy to find the book of my choice. In addition, the features for reading books are also attractive. There is a function to read the text out loud and the speed can be changed. It is good for learning not only reading but also listening. There is a quiz in each book so readers can check their comprehension of the book.
I read The Truth Machine and easy books with many illustrations. This time I chose a less difficult book so I knew all of the words, but I think it is ideal for practicing reading sentences. Vocabulary is also necessary when reading difficult books, so Xreading is great because I can choose according to my level. [162 words; should be about 200. And you can write about the vocabulary you learned in this paragraph, which will make your paragraphs longer. - Kevin] [I just noticed that you opened The Tower of Babel, a level 6 book. You can also filter by publisher, series, and other criteria to choose the books you prefer. I would suggest starting at a lower level and gradually increasing the level to explore your limits. Since the time and number of words read are recorded, I think it is possible to plan your study. [90 words; please ask your parents if they're OK that you will need 5 years to graduate. Did you learn any words? Why didn't you write about them? - Kevin] [I just checked your Xreading history. You only looked at one level 1 book, so I guess you couldn't learn any new vocabulary from that easy book. Maybe you need to try a higher level book. - Kevin]

There are three things I thought about when I read Oxford Reading Tree Gran. [?] The pictures are very easy to understand. People who are looking at the pictures can also link to the text because to understand the story's meaning. The sentences are easy to understand too. There is also a solid story. At the end, I thought it would be good to end with a happy ending with the help of the magic key. [75 words; please ask your parents if they're OK that you will need 5 years to graduate. And you are supposed to write about the features of Xreading, not the story. You (and others) are not paying attention to the sample writing I provide for you. By the way, did you learn any words? Why didn't you write about them? - Kevin]

I have used Xreading since my freshman year. Xreading is a user friendly tool, and there are many books with many genres so it 's very easy to find books you like. You can browse through the site and look for books to read even randomly. There are tons of books in Xreading and many genre of books, so you can choose what kind of books to read depending on your mood. For example, there are non-fiction, science fiction or mystery. You can also search by the year the book was published, gender, and so on. Xreading allows you to find the perfect book to read. [106 words]
[You wrote about the features of Search, which is fine, but you didn't write about the features you can use while reading, like audio. You had too much repetition, so I deleted some of your sentences. Also, you should tell me one or two words that you learned and the title of the book where you found the words. - Kevin]

I studied English using an extensive reading material site called Xreading. Xreading has an overwhelming variety compared to other extensive reading ebooks. I thought [think] that my English will improve if I use Xreading while commuting to school, such as when I'm on the train. I used Xreading in my first year English class. At that time, I was told that the Foundations Library series was easy to understand and popular. I read The Cave and Bad Dog Good Dog in the past. I think it is better to study extensive reading slowly and carefully from a gentle book. Xreading is finely divided by level so it can be read from the first grade of junior high school and becomes difficult little by little.I think that you can improve your English by finding a level that suits your ability and studying every day until you can enjoy reading the book. My English is still immature and I can only pass low level books. However, I would like to continue to properly understand books that suit my level so that I can improve my ability by reading extensively. I think Xreading is a very good extensive reading material. [There are other features of Xreading that you didn't mention. Also, you should tell me one or two words that you learned and the title of the book where you found the words. - Kevin]

The first thing I learned at this university was to read a lot of English books. Before I entered university, I used to translate English sentences into Japanese and then understand their meanings. Extensive reading helps students develop the ability to understand English as it is.
Xreading is good tool for English learners. We can read a lot of books online. If you want to read easy books, you can choose from easy levels such as 1 to 3. And if you want to read books about animals or fantasy, you can easily find them by filtering genres. You can see information such as the Xreading level, words and summary of each book, which is useful when choosing a book. I don’t really like to read books, so I read books that I think look interesting from the summary. I read God Sees the Truth, But Waits by Leo N. Tolstoy. I learned two words from this book. The First is “dawn”, it means “the time at beginning of the day when light first appears” and “夜明け” in Japanese. The second is “stammer”, it means “to speak with a lot of pauses and repeated sounds” and “口ごもる” in Japanese.
I think it’s good that Xreading records the books you read, so you can visibly look back on your efforts.

On Xreading, there are many online books for ESL. You can read them on your smartphone, tablet or PC, and I always use a smartphone because I can read everywhere. In Extensive Reading, you should choose books which you are interested in, so the search function is very useful. You can search by summary, title and author. You can also search from among 33 genres. And Xreading has various levels so you can choose and find the level that suits you. And Xreading has the function of sort, so you can search your Xreading level in order of low total words.
All Xreading books have audio. You can change the audio speed slower or faster 10% to 40%. The slower or faster audio sound quality is not as good as the original speed audio but it's not a problem. And you can go back or forward by 10 seconds. You can change the text and font size, line spacing, margin and color scheme in view settings. Xreading also has automatic bookmarking and keeps a record of your reading.
This time, I searched for “cat”, and selected level 3 and Total Words (Low→High). I chose The Chef. I could find this book quickly. I read it and listened to the audio but it was too slow for me, so I changed the audio speed to the fastest possible. I could find, listen and read a book comfortably because Xreading has useful functions.

Xreading is a digital reading system where you can read and listen to books online. The audio function is really great for me because I’m not good at reading and when I try to read books, I can’t help but fall asleep. The audio function is great for learning about pronunciation. When you learn how to pronounce difficult words, your English skill will be refined little by little. Also, Xreading tells us how many words are in each book, which helps you choose which book you want to read. If you want to read an easy one, you should choose 100~1000 words. If you want to read a difficult or a little bit long one, you should choose books with more than 1500 words.
I read The Tower of Babel by Rob Waring. This book’s level is 1-3. I learned two new words. The first word is “flood,” which means “a large amount of water covering an area of land” and “洪水“ in Japanese. The second word is “ancient,” which means “belonging to the very distant past and no longer in existence” and “古代” in Japanese.
I’m going to use Xreading, because I can listen to it when I have free time or when riding on a train or bus. By reading more, I can learn new English words and expressions .

Xreading is an online virtual library management system that provides English books for ESL readers. With Xreading, I can read English books tailored to my level anytime, anywhere.
There are no restrictions, so I can read as many books as I like. Almost all books have an audio function, so it’s a good point to study listening. It’s also nice to be able to answer questions and leave reviews after reading books. All the books I read are posted in a table, so I can see at a glance what I read, how many words I read, and what the correct answer rate is.
This system is accessible not only to students but also to teachers so they can manage student learning. Students can register the books they have read in the teacher’s class and report on their leaning status.
The two books I read this time are The Cave and A Good Friend. These two books are works of the “Foundations Reading Library'' series. Since this series is about students, it may be something that I can sympathize with. The number of words is about 500 to 2000 words, so it was a good level for me.
I learned new expressions on Xreading. The first expression is “get out of” . The same means "move out of, exit, and leave." In Japanese, it means “~の外へ出る”. The second expression is “go down”. It means "get down." In Japanese, it means “下へ行く、降りていく”.
I’m not good at reading, so I feel Xreading is perfect for overcoming my weaknesses. However, I don't think I can continue to study English for a long time using this.
