Comments about ESL on YouTube

I recommend the YouTube channel AK in カナダ/ AK-English. Akane is a YouTuber who was not good at English when she was a student, but is now an ambassador to the Government Tourism Bureau of Bang Coober [OMG, Mei]. The video is about 1 to 5 minutes long and introduces one phrase. It teaches words and phrases that you couldn't learn at school. My favorite video is "My Life in Vancouver". The project began in the fall of 2019 and was recently completed. Her purpose was to share the beauty of Vancouver through her experiences. The video also has subtitles, so you can enjoy the view of Vancouver while listening to her pronunciation. Even if you watch the video during your study break, this video makes you feel like you're in a foreign country. I also want to study Business English, so I love her "Call in Business English'' video. In this video, you can learn business English in all situations of the phone, such as how to make a call, pick up, hang up, call back, relay, hold, leave a message, etc. in English. There are only practical scenes, and thanks to this video, I have solved the TOEIC problem [?]. Her pronunciation is slow to make it easier to learn, so I can do shadowing.

I watch YouTube every day. YouTube has useful functions for learning English, so I will introduce them.
First is the subtitles. If you watch a video to learn English, it is difficult to hear all the native pronunciation without subtitles. By adding it, you can find words and expressions that are difficult to hear. The second is to change the playback speed. Native pronunciation feels very fast to us. I think you can improve your listening skills by slowing down or speeding up the playback speed.
I watched a channel called Speak English With Vanessa this time. She is very bright, pronounces beautifully and is easy to understand. Her channel mainly teaches everyday English expressions and correct pronunciation. [Which video did you watch?]
I learned two new expressions on this channel. The first is "If you don't mind~". It's an expression used when making a conservative suggestion, and "もしよろしければ、申し訳ありませんが" in Japanese. The second expression is "pull in". It means to move the car to one side, and "片側に寄る、車を片側に寄せる" in Japanese.
On YouTube, videos related to the videos you watched will appear, so I think that it is one of the attractions that you can find videos you did not know. We can watch it anytime, anywhere, so I think It's very convenient for learning English.

I have never used an ESL channel on YouTube for study English. I am surprised that there are a lot of ESL channels. I’d like to introduce the Jennifer ESL channel. Her channel has 1.01 million subscribers. She publishes various videos about English. I like the most common phrasal verbs series videos because it is very good and I can understand. I will tell everyone about the videos. First, she teaches us three of the most common phrasal verbs. Second, she teaches us in an easy-to-understand way using example sentences about a word and tells us a similar meaning for clarity. Finally, she gives us quizzes and explains the answers. Her channel has subtitles so it is easy to understand for people who are not very good at English.
I learned two wards. First, I learned ‘’disbelief’’. Its meaning is "doubt, skepticism" and 不信、懐疑 in Japanese. Second, I learned ‘’embarrass’’. Its meaning is "confuse, abash" and 困惑、困らせる in Japanese.
I will watch and listen to the Jennifer ESL channel to study English from now on. I hope her channel will improve to my English skill.

I would like to introduce Rupa sensei, an English-language Instagrammer and youtuber from Melbourne, Australia. His YouTube videos have just the right balance of Japanese and English, and they are simple and largely subtitled, making them easy to understand even for beginners. Most of his videos are about 10 minutes long, and although they are short 10 minutes, he teaches idioms in a way that is easy to understand and teaches grammar, slang, and pronunciation over and over. You can also enjoy learning English conversation and English phrases using Disney movies, Harry Potter, and foreign animation. You can choose any movie you like to watch. I watched the Simpsons movie. I learned a new expression , "hang in there". It means "don't give up, keep going, do your best," which in Japanese means don't give up, hang in there [?]. It is used when someone is about to lose or in a difficult situation, so it is different in nuance from good luck or do your best. You can learn listening and English conversation phrases by watching Rupa-sensei's YouTube every day for 10 minutes. In addition to movies and animated videos, there are also interesting tips for learning English, so be sure to check them out [We don't need this in your graduation report.].

I use YouTube almost every day. I frequently watch videos related to overseas sightseeing spots and music on YouTube, but I didn't know there were many channels for ESL. This time I watched the YouTube channel called Speak Confident English by Anne Marie.
On this channel, she introduces how to pronounce English, as well as English words and expressions in various situations. There are various videos about learning English, so I think you can find good information on this channel. Also, YouTube has the functions to add subtitles and change the videos speed. By using these functions, you can understand the content better. Auto-generated subtitles may have some mistakes in the words, but the subtitles function is very useful. She speaks clearly and slowly, so I think it's easy for everyone to hear her English.
I learned two words from "10 English Power Words" and "Describe Your Feelings in English" on this channel. The first is "delegate". It means "委任する" in Japanese and "to give a particular job, duty, right, to someone" in English. The second is "blissful". It means "至福の・この上なく幸せな" in Japanese and "extremely or completely happy" in English.
Some YouTube videos have advertisements, which interfere with watching, but it's a good tool because you can watch as many videos as you want for free. I will continue to use YouTube in order to learn English.

I don’t usually watch YouTube much, but I found a good channel for this assignment. It is a channel called Hapa Eikaiwa. As a half-Japanese and American, Jun has been educated in both Japan and United States. He introduces many expressions, knowledge, and local information that incorporate not only English but also culture.
On this channel, you can learn live English used by native speakers which is not found in textbooks. Each time in “Native English Ear Training”, he presents a conversation with a native speaker using key phrases. Also, there are scenes of conversations without subtitles and with subtitles in the video, so you can practice your listening skills. Other videos show how to use certain words differently from others. There, you can learn how native speakers use them, which is very useful because it explains the nuances that are difficult to understand.
I found two words from this channel. The first is “yell”. It means “a loud, sharp cry, especially of pain, surprise, or delight; a shout.”, and “大声をあげる” in Japanese. The second is “considerate”. It means “careful not to cause inconvenience or hurt to others.”, and “思いやりのある” in Japanese.
His videos are very useful and I think it is a great channel for learning English.

Nowadays, you can study English on YouTube. Among the many channels, I will introduce Yoko's channel. You can learn English grammar and how to study English on this channel. She teaches us how to use auxiliary verbs and past participles in a polite and easy-to-understand way. So even those who are not good at English can understand it. Also, her pronunciation is similar to that of a native speaker, so listening skills will improve. Furthermore, pronunciation can be improved by imitating her sentences. It is a friendly Japanese translations of how to use the grammar we have learned so far. That's why it's so easy to understand and I don't feel bad about my English skill. There are also videos of her speaking in English in her past videos. You can understand what she means by using the YouTube caption function.
I learned two words from this channel. The first one is "specific". It means "明確な" in Japanese and "clearly defined or identified" in English. The second one is "method". It means "方法" in Japanese and "a particular procedure for accomplishing or approaching something, especially a systematic or established one" in English.
I have never used YouTube to learn English. So I was surprised that there were so many channels. I think it's very convenient because you can see it anytime, anywhere. I enjoyed watching her videos because there are some interesting things about them. I want to study English using YouTube from now on.

I watch YouTube every day. I enjoy watching certain YouTubers, games, cooking and music, but there are also channels where you can learn English. I will introduce Chika from among them. The channel name is bilingual girl | bilingual chika. バイリンガール英会話 | Bilingirl Chika She started posting videos in 2009. The number of channel subscribers is currently 1.49 million and the number of videos is 1,044. She went to the United States when she was in the first grade of elementary school because of her father's work and spent 16 years in Seattle. Her videos include interaction with her daughter, daily videos, and travel videos. Her videos have featured Tom Cruise and Will Smith in the past. The length of the video is about 1 to 20 minutes, so you can watch it in your free time. And for those who feel it's long, YouTube has the ability to change the playback speed, so you can choose between 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x and 2x. It will save you time. On the contrary, you can slow it down. Most of her videos have subtitles. Some videos may not have subtitles, but you can use the YouTube cc function to add subtitles. Even if you want to watch a video in a situation where you can't make sound, you can watch it because there are subtitles. Also, even if there are words you don't understand, there are subtitles so you can know them.
Her video is relatively short from 1 minute to 20 minutes, so it's easy to watch, but I think it's good that you can change the playback speed and watch it at double speed. Also, most videos have subtitles, so you can watch videos even when you can't make sound, and you can know words you don't know on the spot, so I think it's good. [This is repetitive.]
I learned two words from her video. The First word is "bored". "Bored" means "退屈" in Japanese. I use it when I'm free and have nothing to do. The second word is "grumpy". "Grumpy" means "不機嫌な" in Japanese. I use it when I don't get my way or feel bad.

I use YouTube every day. I mainly watch fishing channels, but I also use YouTube to study English. The YouTube channel I watch is Your Favorite English Teacher by Mr. Rupa. This channel explains in an easy to understand way the meaning of phrases from a movie or the English of a famous actor. You can learn English in your favorite anime and movies, soyou can enjoy studying. You can watch it many times because YouTube has a function to rewind the video if you don't understand it. It also has a sharing function, so you can see it with your friends.
I learned two English expressions. The first is “to kick it in ~”. In this case means “to stay, chill out”. It means “〜でのんびりする、リラックスする” in Japanese. The second is “oh man” In this case means “yeah that’s right”. It means “うん、そうだね” in Japanese.
I think he can continue to study because he can enjoy learning English even though he is studying. [Can you guess what I'm going to say?]

There are so many learning English accounts on YouTube. Today, I’d like to introduce one of the learning English account called Speaking English With Vanessa. Vanessa is an English teacher from the United States. She has more than four million channel subscribers. Her new video lessons are posted every Friday. Through watching her videos, you will be able to speak in English clearly, naturally and confidently. On this channel, Vanessa is posting variety of useful English videos. For example, there are videos about pronunciation, idioms, vocabulary, listening, English grammar and common expressions in daily speech. These videos will help you learn English. Her pronunciation is easy to understand. But if you can’t hear well, you can add subtitles. You can also change the videos speed. I especially like English vocabulary lesson videos because she teaches the words in detail and in an easy to understand way. I want to continue learning English with Vanessa through this channel’s videos from now on.
I learned some new words from this channel. The first word is “stare”. This means “じっと見つめる、凝視” in Japanese and “gaze, look hard, to look without blinking. The second word is “splurge”. This means “散財する” in Japanese and “waste, squander” in English.

I watch YouTube every day and I found a very good channel for learning English. The name of the channel is Learning English with English Class 101. I recommend this channel. The channel teaches words, vocabulary, and everyday conversational phrases. You can also learn grammar. For example, a new post teaches the difference between “must” and “have to”, so you can learn proper grammar. The reason I like this channel so much is that in each post, you not only learn the word, its meaning, and an example sentence using the word, but you also learn the correct pronunciation of the word. She pronounces the words slowly and by shadowing you can learn the correct pronunciation.
I learned two new words. The first is “poet”. It means “詩人” in Japanese. The definition of English is “a person who writes poems”. The second is “superior”. It means “上司” in Japanese. The definition of English is “a person or group of people who are higher in rank or social position than others”.
There are short videos of about 10 minutes or longer videos of about 3 hours. I will continue to use YouTube to learn English because I can choose the postings that suit my time at that moment.

I recommend a YouTube channel called Tarosac. The YouTuber lives in Australia and he interviews different people there. He also said in the video that he could not speak English at first, but now he speaks fluent English. There are two reasons why I recommend him. The first is that you can hear local people speaking English. The interviewees are local or visitors to Australia, some from Italy, some from Brazil, and many other countries, so you can hear a variety of English. I also want to speak English fluently and beautifully, but after watching his video, I realized that each person has own pronunciation and English speaking style. This gives me confidence. Another reason why I recommend Tarosac is because he teaches important words and phrases. For example, he selects difficult phrases in one sentence or words that are used frequently and displays them in a simple way. This helps me understand why the words are important and they are memorable. I learned from his video how to use "As long as" in the phrase "As long as he's a good person I don't really mind”. I had always thought of it as a comparison and felt that it was rarely used in everyday conversation, but I realized that it is a phrase that can often be used between friends and lovers.

I watch YouTube every day, but I have never used an ESL channel. I didn't know there were so many ESL channels. I watched the ESL channel VOA Learning English for the first time. This channel has 2 million subscribers and the first video was posted about 12 years ago. The most played videos have been played over 4.6 million times. There are some points that I found good to watch on this channel. The first is we can study English according to the situation. We can study English with dialogue about various information such as movies, news, and Health Report. The second is many videos can be watched in less than 5 minutes. You can deepen your understanding of English by watching one video each day. We can deepen your understanding of English by watching one video a day. The videos are short, so you don't get tired of watching it. Please watch it, if you have time.
I learned some words from this YouTube channel. The first is “Awesome”. It means That's what it means when you feel great or surprised and “驚く” in Japanese an interjection. The second is It is “ingredients” It means “Materials for production” in English and “原材料” in Japanese.

I often study English on YouTube. One of my favorite accounts is Bilingual Girl Chika. [sp] Chika grew up in the U.S. and moved there when she was 6 years old due to her parents' work. Her videos teach English conversation useful for daily life in the U.S. and English phrases necessary in case of emergency. When she teaches us new words, she not only shows us the phrase, but also gives us example sentences and how to use them. Although she uses a lot of Japanese, I think it is a very informative and easy-to-understand YouTube channel for the first step in learning English.
The video I watched this time is "Exchanges & Returns". This is a video that tells you what to do when exchanging or returning an item. There are two words I learned in it; the first is "I just bought this.(これ買ったばかりです。)" It is a normal sentence, and it is not a new phrase I learned. However, if you can't say this phrase, you can't return or exchange a product. Therefore, I thought it was a very important English sentence. The second is "I'd like to exchange this for a new one. (これを新しい商品と交換したいです。)" This is the word you use when you want to exchange something for a new one. "Exchange" and "new" are simple words, but when it comes down to it, you can't think of such smooth words. I thought it would be easier to speak English if I could remember even these simple words!

Mirai - 6/13/2022 [Mirai, this writing is not about ESL on YouTube. Your graduation report will not be good if you don't understand the meaning of ESL. Lucky for you, you may be able to use this writing for the Streaming News topic, which is coming up soon.] [Not edited yet.]
The YouTube account I would like to recommend is BBC News, which was originally created as a TV news program, but it started to be available on YouTube in 2007. This account is designed for native English speakers, so it may be a bit challenging for English learners like us. However, the pronunciation is easy to listen to and you will gain a better understanding of not only English but also international issues.
There are three main features of this account: first, the pronunciation is very easy to understand; second, you can watch it with subtitles if you cannot understand it; and third, you can take in academic English and knowledge. By using this account, you will be able to incorporate strong listening and reading skills, as well as knowledge of international issues.
In this issue, we watched "How the global cost-of-living crisis could affect Japan. The content was about the situation where wages in Japan have not increased at all and about restaurants offering low-cost food. We learned two words: first, "decade," which means ten years, and is often used in historical and academic discussions. You can use it as, "Smartphones have been widely spread in the last decade(スマートフォンはここ10年で急速に広まった).
The second word is "grapple'', which can also mean "hold on tight to~(しっかり掴む)" but in this video it was used in the sense of tackling a problem(問題などに取り組む). For example, "We grappled with the problem.

I watched some videos of the channel named English with Lucy on YouTube. There are a lot of English channels on YouTube. There are channels for ESL, and there are also channels for everyone including native people. The channel English with Lucy I tried watching this time introduces not only how to use English, but also the difference in pronunciation between British English and American English. Her channel has 8 million subscribers and seems to be very famous. Many videos are 10 to 20 minutes long, but there are also short videos of about a minute. These are useful for people with little free time. Lucy speaks slowly, so I think her channel is easy to listen to and understand. However, sometimes the topics and words are a little difficult.
YouTube has some good features for learning English. For example, you can add subtitles in Japanese or English. Also, you can adjust the playback speed of the video, so if the talking speed is too fast for you, you can slow it down to understand easily. Both features will help you study English efficiently.
I learned two new words from this channel. The first one is “keen”. This means “extremely sensitive in perception” and “鋭い、熱心な” in Japanese. The second one is “unpredictable”. This means “not able to be predicted” and “予測不可能な” in Japanese.

I watched “BBC learning English” on YouTube. There are a lot of opportunities to learn English by watching YouTube on a daily basis. I think it's good to watch it casually and learn English in your free time. "BBC" is not only an English learning site, but it's also news. “BBC learning English” has a lot to learn by listening. But even if you can't understand by listening, you can understand because it's written in the subtitles. For example, when introducing the name of a garment, a picture of the garment and words in English are displayed. And the listening is easy to understand because the video doesn't use difficult English very much. The speakers don't just teach us words, they also introduce us to English grammar. You can also learn English in a quiz style. It's YouTube, so if you want to watch it again, you can go back. I recommend "BBC learning English" because it gives detailed information.
I learned two words through this site. The first one is “beard”. This means "a growth of hair on the chin and lower cheeks of a man's face." In Japanese, it means “ひげ”. The second is "breed." This means (of animals) "mate and then produce offspring." In Japanese, it means “繁殖”.

I learned that there are various ESL channels on YouTube and I watched YYYOKOOO.. I watch YouTube every day, so it was very easy to study on YouTube. YouTube also has a caption function, so it's easy to understand.
The YYYOKOOO channel focuses on English conversation. Yoko, who is Japanese but has acquired the same level of English as a native speaker, explains slang expressions and English expressions that are difficult for Japanese. There are videos that answer the audience's questions, such as "What should I say in English at times like this?" and videos that talk about discrimination and social issues. One of the videos that I found particularly interesting is that Japanese people use "think" too much. I sympathized with this video. I understand that foreigners don't use "think" very much in English. This channel is recommended for those who want to pronounce English beautifully or who want to learn English expressions that are understood by native speakers.
I learned two words from this YouTube channel. The first one is "sneeze". The means "to make a sudden involuntary expulsion of air from the nose and mouth due to irritation of one's nostrils." The meaning in Japanese is "くしゃみ". The second is "God damn". "God damn" is used to emphasize or express annoyance with someone or something. The meaning in Japanese is "ちくしょう!".

I tried using BBC Learning English on YouTube. I think YouTube is a convenient app that I can watch for free. After using BBC Learning English, I thought it was a useful channel for my English study. It has a wide range of videos, including vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. If it's a vocabulary video, the script is in the video, so I can read it while listening. That is very helpful because I'm not good at listening. Scripts can be switched on and off on YouTube. The advantage is that I can practice by looking at subtitles at first, and once I get used to it, I can practice only by voice. I can listen to various topics in English on this channel, and various teachers are posting videos, so I think I can study without getting tired of it. Also, I think it is very good that new videos are constantly being updated.
The video I watched was "How to use linking words". There are two new linking words that I learned in this video. The first is "all of a sudden". It means "all at once" in English and "突然に" in Japanese. The second is "in the end ". It means "finally" in English and "最終的には" in Japanese.

I used BBC Learning English. I think YouTube is a great way to learn English because it is basically all free and anyone can use it. On this channel you can learn vocabulary and pronunciation. You can learn vocabulary by reading the text in the vocabulary videos, or you can use the subtitles in the other videos to learn pronunciation and grammar.
If you subscribe to YouTube premium, you can listen to the videos even when your mobile phone is off, so you can study on the train or in your spare time. I think you can learn a lot if you listen to English while watching the sentences and subtitles at first, and then listen without watching as you get used to it. And because it is a large channel, there are a variety of topics, so you can start with what you are interested in, so you can study without getting bored. Also, each video is not that long, so I felt that I never got tired of doing it.
The video I learned from this channel is called "finding your way in space," which is by means of a magnetic pole. In Japanese, "magnetic pole" means "磁極," and it means "point near the North Pole or South Pole where the Earth's magnetic field is concentrated."

The best features of studying English on YouTube are that the speed can be adjusted and the fact that there are subtitles. By using these, we can correctly understand what the YouTubers are talking about. And there are many YouTubers (people who deliver their content themselves ) so we can choose our favorite accent.
I like studying English using YouTube because I often use this application, so it's familiar to me. I often watch Bilingirl Chika or YYYOKOOO’s video on YouTube to learn English. Chika’s video is so useful . I’m learning how to order in English, and I'm learning useful phrases and American culture. If you want to learn daily conversation, she is the best The YouTubers on channel YYYOKOOO are not native English speakers, so we can learn how she became an excellent English speaker. Her video’s contents are mainly talking about something. We can get the education on her channel in English.
I watched YYYOKOOO’s video on YouTube. I learned two expressions in this video. The first one is "there for〜" 〜に頼るin Japanese. This expression is used like in this video “They will always be there for me ” This passage’s Japanese meaning is”いつも味方になってくれる” The next word is “hold back ”隠す,躊躇うin Japanese. In this video, she used this word like this “They don’t hold back to express their opinions ”躊躇わずに自分の意見を言う.

I usually watch a lot of YouTube videos.Among them, the YouTube channel I chose was BBC Learning English.
First of all, the English on this channel is speaking simple English at a speed that is not so fast so that even foreigners can understand it.It also has subtitles, so it's easy for us Japanese to understand.
Also, you can watch it for free because it is a YouTube channel, so you can learn English without spending money. It's also a news channel, so new videos are constantly being updated and I can learn new words and more.
[Which videos did you watch? What words did you learn? If you don't have this, I can't tell if you even did the assignment.]
[And one space after a period. I have told you this many times.]

I watch YouTube every day, but I only watch videos of my favorite YouTubers. This time, I watched the YouTube channel "Real English". The video that was easy to understand was "Dream Job with subtitles". You can understand the meaning of the title of this video. In this video, the YouTuber interviews people in the city about their dream job in English. It is practice of English conversation.
I learned two expressions in the video of "Dream Job with subtitles". The first word is ‘’absolutely’’. This is a used to emphasize a strong or exaggerated statement. The meaning in Japanese is ‘’一切’’. The second word is ‘’repair’’. This is a make good (because of damage). The meaning in Japanese is ‘’手入れ’’.
On YouTube can change the playback speed, so I think you can better understand the pronunciation. However, I don't have Japanese at all [?], so I need to understand it in English. I can understand the words I don't understand deeply because I look them up myself. YouTube is a very useful app for studying English. From now on, I would like to learn English using YouTube. I’d like to recommend a YouTube channel by Tarosac who lives in Australia. Tarosac is 31 years old. He moved to Australia in 2015. He has been posting videos on YouTube since 2020. Tarosac’s videos are mainly videos of interviews with foreigners, [I don't understand this; In Australia, people from Australis are not 'foreigners.' Tarosac is the foreigner.] He interviews them about their impressions of Japanese people and the state of love in other countries. [?] He introduces viewers to stylish cafes and car rentals that he knows because he lives in Australia, and makes viewers feel like they've been abroad. His videos are usually 10-20 minutes long, so they are not too long, not too short, but just the right length and very easy to watch.
I learned the expression "a hundred percent" from his video. {Which video? You need the title.] It means 完全に間違いない. Before learning this phrase, I thought of "totally." or "absolutely." but I found this way of saying it easier to understand and remember. I think English is full of interesting ways of saying things, so I thought that if I learned more phrases, I could use them when I go abroad.
According to Tarosac, the key to improving your English is to put yourself in an environment where you can use English. However, it takes a lot of courage to move abroad. Tarosac's video provides an easy-to-understand explanation of the visa system and work, and is recommended as a reference for those considering moving abroad.

I will summarize my experience of learning English with ESL videos on YouTube.
In my opinion, BBC Learning English is a good channel. It is interesting to watch because various people teach English with videos. Also, since the teaching method differs from person to person, you will never get bored. Besides, I feel that the English is easy to hear overall, so I think it's a good channel for Japanese people.
Second VOA Learning English has very short videos, .so you can watch many videos in a short time. Also, because there are subtitles, it's okay if you can't hear it. Also, I think it's good to get to know world news while learning English.
I think it's good to be able to learn by focusing on one word. at a time. Studying on YouTube is recommended because you can do it in your spare time. Also, I felt that there are many effective channels, so please give it a try. [We don't need this in your graduation report.]

I have three things to say about YouTube's Bilingual Girl Chika. First is that the content of the video is much more interesting than other YouTubers. Her videos are very fun topics, such as taking a trip or making a video of every day with her family. I am very happy to learn English with fun videos. However, there are some videos that are only in Japanese, so there are some videos that I can't study English. [Good point!] The second is I can learn about real life overseas and difficult things through videos. Difficult things are supplemented in Japanese, so it's very easy to understand. In addition, short videos are easy to understand, which is very good. However, sometimes there are videos that are not related to English, such as family videos. The third is that the quality is higher than other videos. It is very fun to watch telops and BGM of letters ]?].
Next, there are two good things about Jennifer ESL. The first is I can acquire English grammar skills. There are many explanations of grammar in each video, so they are very educational. The second is she teaches you the differences in how to use grammar. It changes depending on the situation.
I learned "supplement". The meaning is "to update the content or add explanations." I also learned the word educational. It is an adjective and means "guiding."

This time I would like to introduce the benefits of learning English on YouTube and one YouTube creator whom I recommend for learning English.
First of all, here are some of the advantages of learning English on YouTube. One is that there are numerous videos and creators out there, so you can find the video that best fits the content you want to learn. For example, if we search for "English Present Progressive Tense," we will find many videos with that content, so we can find the one we like among them, or we can compare videos with the same content to better understand what we do not understand.
Second, we can create playlists of videos. This will facilitate learning by allowing us to watch our favorite videos in a playlist so that we can watch them whenever we like.
And the creator I recommend this time is Atsueigo. He mainly explains English from a different perspective, such as the points that Japanese people tend to make mistakes in learning English and what not to do when learning English. What I learned from his video is that "〜みたいだ" in Japanese means "it seems that 〜" in English.

I watched the YouTube videos of Bilingirl Chika She introduces many categories, and each one I saw was very interesting. She introduces her daily life, her travels with her family, food in the United States, interviews with famous actors, and so on. I would like to raise two reasons why I think this YouTube channel is a non-English speaker friendly learning material.
The first reason why I chose this YouTuber as ESL material was because she introduces food habits and restaurants in the United States. She said eating a burger with a shake, which is a very American thing to do. Not only that surprised me, but also it felt like I would want to try it. In that same video it introduced how it is normal for the States to bring back food when you have leftovers, which is not that common in Japan. Not only can you learn how to talk, but it is also easy for listeners to learn American food culture.
Second, she does interviews with famous actors, and that makes it more interesting. In the videos that I have watched, she interviewed Will Smith and Tom Cruise. The Will Smith video was about making sushi and eating it. When learning English, you have to learn the way that entertains you.
In conclusion, there are many YouTube videos that teach ESL, however, not every video suits you. Meaning, you have to understand your English level and based on your level it is important to choose videos that you can learn English with joy.

I watched a video of learning English on YouTube. I thought it would be easy to study because YouTube videos are easy to watch . YouTube has features that help you learn English. It is possible to change the playback speed of the video. You can slow it down to make it easier to hear, or speed it up a bit and listen faster. Also, YouTube has subtitles, it is very convenient to have subtitles because it is difficult to understand by audio alone. I watched videos on the Guess English Conversation channel. This channel is interesting and very easy to understand. I learned the Japanese word "tendency" which means "tendency". [?] [111 words]

I’d like to recommend the Youtube channel Tarosac in Australia.
Tarosac posts videos on Youtube. He is 31 years old. He moved to Australia in 2015. He has been posting videos on YouTube since 2020.
Tarosac’s videos are mainly videos of interviews with foreigners, interviewing them about their impressions of Japanese people and the state of love in other countries. He introduces me to stylish cafes and car rentals that he knows because he lives in Australia, and makes me feel like I've been abroad. His videos are usually 10-20 minutes long, not too long, not too short, just the right length and very easy to watch.
Phrases I learned from his videos.
[ A hundred percent.] 間違いない
Before learning this phrase, I thought of "Totally." or "Absolutely." but I found this way of saying it easier to understand and remember. I think English is full of interesting ways of saying things back, so I thought that if I learned phrases that I found interesting, I could use them when I went abroad.
According to Tarosac, the key to improving your English is to put yourself in an environment where you can use English. However, it takes a lot of courage to move abroad. Tarosac's video provides an easy-to-understand explanation of the visa system and work, and is recommended as a reference for those considering moving abroad.

I use YouTube everyday. There are many people who teach English for ESL. I found good channels on YouTube so I can learn English on a daily basis. The channels are サマー先生と英会話!【プライムイングリッシュ】and ニック式英会話. {Please write these in romaji first, then the Japanese version in parentheses.]
First, I will talk about サマー先生と英会話!. Summer Sensei is an English native speaker but she can speak Japanese fluently so I can understand her explanations easily. She introduces English pronunciation methods and sound change in English. I’d like to know how to pronounce English like a native, but I didn’t have a way to learn English pronunciation when I was in the first grade. Then I searched and found this channel. Her videos are really helpful for understanding English pronunciation and developing listening skills.
Next is ニック式英会話. He is also an English native speaker. He teaches phrases which are from TV dramas or movies and he explains them very specifically. He introduced the phrase “Nick will eat them” from the TV drama New Girl. This is pronounced “nikuleedem”. I couldn’t hear it without subtitles because it was too fast, but after listening to his explanation, I can hear and understand what the native speaker said. Learning sound changes like this is useful for participating in English conversations.

I watched some videos of learning English on YouTube. I watch YouTube every day, and I know how to use it, so I found it easy to study.
YouTube has features that help me learn English. The first is that you can change the playback speed of the video. You can learn by changing the speed according to your purpose, such as making the speed easy for you to hear, or increasing the speed a little and raising the level. Also, YouTube can add subtitles, so even if it is difficult to understand with audio alone, subtitles will help you understand. The bad thing about YouTube is that some videos have ads, so I can't watch them smoothly, which hinders my studies.
I watched videos on two channels, JenniferESL and Speak English With Vanessa. I especially like Vanessa's videos. Vanessa is very bright and fun to watch. Also, on Vanessa's channel, the videos are clearly categorized in the playlist, so I think it's easy to find the videos I want to watch. Jennifer's video had a calm atmosphere and I felt like I was taking classes. Both of them speak slowly, so I think they're easy for people who are not good at English listening.
I learned a few words from these two channels. The first is "surgery" from JennierESL. This means "surgical operation" in English and "手術" in Japanese. The second is "emotions" from Speak English With Vanessa. This means "sentiment" in English and "感情" in Japanese.

I sometimes watch videos on YouTube that have information on how to study English and study abroad. This time I watched the YouTube channel, Speak English with Vanessa.
I watched a few videos on Speak English with Vanessa. There are some videos to practice native pronunciation and to introduce important expressions. You can add subtitles so you can read and understand the text. You can also change the playback speed so that it is slower and easier to understand. There is no Japanese at all, so you have to understand it in English. [Mako, which episodes did you watch? Each episode has a title.]
There are two expressions that I learned in Speak English with Vanessa. The first is "break a leg," which means "to wish someone luck, especially just before they perform on stage." In Japanese, it means ”幸運を祈る”. It is used in the same way as "good luck." The second expression is "on the fence". It means "not able to decide something" and "決めかねている" in Japanese.
I often watch YouTube, so even if I just stream it and watch it, I am constantly listening to English, which I think will help me improve my listening ability. There is no Japanese language at all, so I think I am able to learn how to research and listen for myself. YouTube is free and you can watch as many videos as you want, so I would like to find a channel on YouTube with a study method that works for me.
